Out of love for music and the aim of bringing joy in people’s hearts, Ms. Mitu made her first steps into the entertainment industry, as a crossover artist. The main purpose was to deliver emotions, the pure message of opera in a more accessible way, which would have been perceived by everyone, besides the language, culture, nationality or education.
The highly appreciated acting skills acquired during the years of opera performing helped shaping a smooth transition to the entertainment industry. Based on her transferrable skills, Ms. Mitu created an unique concept of shows with an intense theatrical development, based on emotions. As a versatile artist she developed projects like Opera Tango, a selection of famous opera arias adapted for band and accordion. Her latest show, A joy to sing reveals an extensive range of musical styles, from Classical to Broadway and traditional famous songs, paying a tribute to great artists like Maria Callas, Edith Piaf, Julie Andrews and delighting diverse audience of various cultural backgrounds, nationalities and interests.
